1. Accessibility Requirements and Applicable Criteria
The digital accessibility requirements are outlined in Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022, "Implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services", which refers to the UNI EN 301549 standard for technical aspects.
Specifically, the website’s compliance must be assessed against the criteria listed in chapters 9 "Web" and 10 "Non-web content," which refer to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at levels A+AA.
The four fundamental principles of digital accessibility expressed by WCAG 2.1 are:
- Perceivable - Content is presented in a clear and understandable way.
- Operable - The interface is easily navigable by all users.
- Understandable - Information and operations are intuitive and easy to interpret.
- Robust - The site is compatible with common assistive technologies.
Referring to the aforementioned UNI EN 301549 standard, which clearly lists 50 success criteria for verifying website accessibility, technical analyses were conducted on the website's content, including textual and non-textual information, downloadable documents and forms, and forms of two-way interaction, such as handling digital forms and completing authentication, identification, and payment processes.
Areas Excluded from the Application
Article 1, paragraph 5 of Legislative Decree No. 82/2022 states that the provisions do not apply to the following website content and mobile applications:
- pre-recorded time-based media published before June 28, 2025;
- office file formats published before June 28, 2025;
- online maps and mapping services, provided that essential information for navigation is made available in accessible digital format;
- third-party content that is neither funded nor developed by the economic operator concerned nor under its control;
- website and mobile application content considered to be archives that only contain content not updated or edited after June 28, 2025.

4. Meeting Accessibility Requirements
To improve accessibility and user experience, FFW S.r.l. has integrated the UserWay PRO accessibility widget into the website covered by this statement. Its use by website users is completely free and helps improve the site's compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
UserWay PRO offers various features to enhance website accessibility and user experience through a dedicated panel that can be accessed by clicking on the widget icon or using the CTRL+U keyboard shortcut, as listed below.
In addition to the features users can activate from the accessibility menu, the UserWay PRO widget can detect many non-compliance issues on the site and make real-time corrections without altering the source code—only what the browser displays. This allows the website to be more usable for all end users, including those using assistive technologies.
Web content accessibility for users employing assistive technologies such as screen readers, alternative keyboards, or voice commands is also supported by the presence of ARIA attributes. These attributes describe the role, state, and properties of UI elements, communicate dynamic interactions (e.g., expandable menus, modals, sliders) to screen readers, and support keyboard navigation in complex components.
Additional Accessibility Requirements for E-Commerce Services
The service ensures the accessibility of features related to identification, security, and payment in an accessible way, including systems that make these functionalities perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Regarding electronic payments, the site uses the following major market leaders:
Compliance Status
To determine the site's compliance status, guidelines and the evaluation checklist prepared by AgID were used.
This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard. Since it was published before 06/28/2025, the company intends to achieve full compliance upon launching a new version of the website in the future.
5. Accessibility Monitoring Process
FFW S.r.l., in a future update of the website covered by this statement, will pay particular attention to the service delivery process to meet digital accessibility requirements, also considering support from external consultants for the following activities:
FFW S.r.l. intends to conduct regular technical checks to monitor website accessibility over time, potentially with contributions from third parties specialized in digital accessibility, in order to implement improvements also based on user suggestions.
In such cases, technical checks will be carried out by an external accessibility consultant using up-to-date tools in compliance with current regulations to re-evaluate the compliance status through semi-automated code checks, manual user testing, and assistive technology use.
